Lorenzo Giovannoni
Born in Bergamo, Italy, Lorenzo Giovannoni is an architect and designer educated at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, where he studied under renowned masters such as Mario Botta, Antonio Citterio, and Valerio Olgiati. His academic path, complemented by international experiences from an early age in the United States and professional work across multiple countries, has shaped a culturally diverse and globally conscious design vision. After completing his Master of Science in Architecture cum laude and a PHD in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship at ECAL Lausanne, Lorenzo founded Giovannoni Tian Architects: an award-winning international design studio codirected with Lilly Tian. The practice specializes in bespoke projects that seamlessly blend architecture, interiors, and décor for residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. Lorenzo’s design philosophy is grounded in the belief that timeless elegance emerges from the dialogue between tradition and innovation. Through a meticulous exploration of materiality, proportion, and craftsmanship, his work seeks to create contemporary classics that transcend trends, reflecting both cultural heritage and modern sophistication.
